a fruit grenade with a refreshing burst

That phrase came out as I was asked how I would see a pineapple (yes, the fruit) in a different way. The last activity on creative writing was the most interesting topic during the 2-day seminar we had on English Language and Literature Teaching and Assessment. Everyone (except for our very dear Ma'am Pearl who had earlier engagements) in the English Department were there to learn more about strategies and techniques about ESL. It was more of a break from the routine and we had some time to meet other teachers from different schools in the Visayas and Mindanao.
